April 19th was our dear Siegfried's birthday! Happy belated birthday! He had lots of love from friends and some lovely celebrations with Hornberry (Connor Barrett!)

A blurry photo of Brian Gattas, laughing and wide-eyed, in what appears to be a room stuffed full of bright green balloons. He is seen from the hip up, captured mid-movement; it looks like he has just turned towards the camera.

Instagram Story from @ ItsShannaLikeBanana, shared to Brian Gattas' own Stories. It features a photo of Brian with a birthday cake on the table in front of him. He is looking up at the camera with a wide smile. The cake is decorated with sprinkles and the words “Yay BG B Day!” written in blue on white frosting. Text at the bottom of the photo reads, “Best birthday boy”, and Brian's Instagram accounts @ GattasB & @ BuiltByGattas are tagged.

Another Instagram Story shared by Brian, this one originally posted by @ MichaelMaize, with a photo of Brian playing a card game. Text above the photo reads, “Happy B day to the one and only @ GattasB !!!” (“only” is written with 6 o's). At the bottom, there is an image of a cute smiling cartoon creature wearing a party hat & holding balloons in both hands.

Instagram Story from OfficialEverCarradine: a photo of Brian Gattas posing with actress Ever Carradine and another person whose face is obscured by a red heart emoji. Brian is smiling broadly or laughing as he stands between the two with his arms around their shoulders. “HBD @ GattasB” is written on the photo.

Absolutely love that Chaos Dad David commented on one of our beloved crewmates @mrbuttons284266 posts on Bsky about Rory Kinnear! Rory deserves all the accolades! He's amazing!
Bluesky post by @ david-jenkins.bsky.social‬, quoting a post from @ MrButtons284266. The original post reads, “I feel like we don't talk enough about how Rory Kinnear kicked it out of the park in OFMD. In both roles! The defile beautiful things speech makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.” Attached to the post is a 37 second video of Rory as Chauncey holding Stede at gunpoint in season 1, episode 9. David's quote post reads, “Rory is just an insanely talented man.”

= Rhys Darby =

Rhys's The Legend Returns tour is going well! He's been flying all over the world and sending us thirst shots!

Selfie of Rhys Darby and Australian comedian Rove McManus backstage at one of Rhys's recent gigs. They are leaning in close with their heads touching, both looking at the camera with closed-mouth smiles.

Source: Rhys's IG Stories

Selfie of Rhys smiling contentedly while sitting on a plane. At the top of the photo, he has written the hashtag TheLegendReturns2025, and at the bottom: “Flying to Canberra“.

Photo of Rhys standing in Sydney Harbour at night with the Sydney Opera House, a couple of boats and the lights of the city in the background. Rhys has one elbow placed on a railing next to him, leaning against it sideways with his head turned to smile at the the camera. He is wearing his Cryptid Factor cap, silver wire-rimmed glasses and a black leather jacket. Text at the top of the photo reads, “Old mate's in town.”Instagram Story with a photo of Rhys standing in an outdoor car park, next to a ticket machine and a sign that reads “Pay here”. Dead leaves litter the ground, but it appears to be a warm, sunny day: Rhys is wearing sunglasses, grey jeans and a black t-shirt, which shows off his toned bicep as he smooths back his hair with one hand, the thumb of his other hand tucked casually into the back pocket of his jeans. Below the photo, he has written “TLR2025”.

= Samson Kayo =

I didn't see the context of this photo but Samson shared this on his IG Stories!
An image from season 2 of Samson Kayo's show “Timewasters”, which is set in the late 1950s. The photo seems to have an aging filter added to it, making it look creased and a bit blurry. It shows Samson's character Horace standing on a cobbled street with a group of 4 young white people. Horace's hair is styled in a pompadour and he is wearing a light grey suit jacket, a white shirt, a thin black necktie and black trousers. He is frowning at a point slightly to the side of the camera as he stands with one hand tucked into his pocket, his other hand holding a cigarette. The other characters are styled similarly, but they are smiling and talking and seem to be moving along while Horace stands still.

= Nathan Foad =

Nathan reshared one of his classic videos this Easter!

= Vico Ortiz =

Vico's been very busy! Vico will be premiering their first solo show in NYC on May 23-25! Get tickets here!

Bluesky post by @ vico-ortiz.bsky.social‬: “(Siren emoji) Alright Faguccinis! (Siren emoji) I’m premiering my very first solo show in NYC as part of the Fuerza Fest line-up May 23-24-25 (Hot Face emoji, Heart on Fire emoji).” The post includes 2 images. The first is a poster for the show, with the text “Rise of a King – a solo show by Vico Ortiz, directed by Ismanuel Rodriguez” written on a photo of Vico's midsection. Vico is wearing a white tutu and a red & gold cape over a one-piece swimsuit or leotard with a deep v-neck, leaving most of their (taped) chest exposed. They are holding up 2 large round plates with various items on them: one plate holds a tube of lipstick, a can of shaving cream and a razor, and the other a colourful face mask. The second photo shows Vico holding up the same 2 plates while sitting on a folding chair. They are pouting at the camera with their eyes wide, wearing a clown nose, a fake goatee & mustache, and a headpiece that looks like a cross between a crown and a straw hat. They are wearing the red & gold cape from the first picture, paired with a silky brown button-up shirt, a red tartan miniskirt, red socks with “big dick energy” written on them, and shiny black loafers.

They've also been keeping busy posting more BTS on their paid Patreon! Below are some sneak previews and the links to them!

Vico Ortiz and Madeleine Sami stand facing each other in a dimly-lit film studio, either dancing or pretending to fight: Madeleine is halfway crouched down with her hands on her knees and grinning up at Vico, whose own posture is reminiscent of a fencing stance, with their legs wide, knees bent and head turned to the side to look back at Madeleine.

Madeleine Sami and Vico Ortiz during filming of “Calypso's Birthday”. They are standing on the Revenge set, which is decorated with colourful flower garlands and Chinese lanterns. The pair are seen from a few metres away at ground level, so their expressions can't be seen in much detail, but Madeleine appears to be cheering with her hands above her head, while Vico has their head tipped back, probably also shouting or cheering.

= Anapela Polataivao =

Tinā will be premiering in Australia on May 1st! The Jam Report did a review here!

Instagram Story with a preview image for the Jam Report article. It features a photo of Anapela Polata'ivao in the film Tinā, sitting on a bus and looking at her reflection in the window next to her. 27 Canceled TV Shows That Are — Quite Literally — The Reason I Have Trust Issues
BuzzFeed

Screenshot from the listicle with Our Flag Means Death at number 20. There is a photo of Edward and Stede standing on the deck of the Revenge in the season 1 episode “Act of Grace”, and below are comments about the show from 3 Buzzfeed readers: “Our Flag Means Death should have been allowed its final season. It was such a groundbreaking show. I've never seen myself portrayed so clearly on screen.” - jennifers94. “Our Flag Means Death gave me so much. I have more friends and more respect and love for myself, to name a few. Its inclusive queer storylines, and representation of neurodivergence made me feel seen and respected for the first time in a long time. We deserve to hear our story told and to see what the final season will bring.” - LindsayPlaizier. “I can't stress enough how much I want just one more season of Our Flag Means Death. It was written to be three seasons, and not only was the second season criminally shortened, affecting the quality, but then the third was unceremoniously cancelled. And it had the viewership!!!!” - WhiteWoodArt.
