A new Bad Jelly Trailer is out!

Source: BadJellyTV

A little quote from Rhys about Bad Jelly!

Quote next to a photo of Rhys in the recording studio: "There's something so classic about some storytelling that when you hear something like BadJelly, you are with your family. You're a kid. It's suitable. It's silly. It's optimistic, and all of your worries disappear. And I think creating a world like Spike has with BadJelly - it's an escapism that we definitely need right now and you can do with your family. And I think that's important because keeping together and feeling happy outside of whatever situation you're in for any small amount of time is a really positive thing." - Rhys Darby, voice of Binklebonk.

There was an article about Rhys in BMA Magazine with this lovely spread!

= Adam Stein =

Our producer and actor, Adam Stein, was spotlighted by Management LA this past week!

"Adam is currently a Consulting Producer on Apple TV+’s THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME. Previous to that, he was an Executive Producer on Max’s TOKYO VICE and OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH. Other recent shows include SEE (Apple TV+, Co-Executive Producer), DESIGNATED SURVIVOR (Netflix, Consulting Producer), THE EXORCIST (Fox, Co-Executive Producer) and UNDER THE DOME (CBS, Supervising Producer). He got his start in television on FX’s DAMAGES, and began his career as a writer doing features for GQ magazine. He has written pilots for Amazon, ABC, AMC Studios, FX and others. Currently, he’s playing Lucky in a production of Waiting for Godot at the @geffenplayhouse through December 21!"

Black and white portrait photo of Adam Stein. His name is written in the bottom right corner, above the words "Client spotlight"."What word resonates with you the most, and why?" - "I'm gonna go with versatility, which my computer defines as the ability to adapt to many different functions or activities. I like to mix it up."

"What movie or show has remained a constant source of inspiration?" - "Apparently I'm stuck in the mid-80s with my most constant inspirations, but Moonlighting (premiered in 1985) and Broadcast News (1987) have been touchstones for what's getting close to forty years. Moonlighting, for its exceptional dialogue and formal adventurousness, and Broadcast News for its exquisite character development and expert balancing of tone. Also, I'd like to think of myself as a perfect composite of David Addison and Aaron Altman." Above Adam's answer, there are the movie posters for Moonlighting and Broadcast News.

"What current project ignites your passion the most?" - "I'll be honest, the whole "Tell us why you're passionate about this idea" thing that happens in pitches has always bugged me. As if passion were the only ingredient essential to writing a good story. It can help, sure, but it's not necessary. I imagine Micaela Coel was passionate about telling her story in I May Destroy You, but was Vince Gilligan passionate about the idea of a chemistry teacher becoming a meth dealer? I doubt it; it was just a fucking great story. That said, there's an idea I've had a while based on the (made up) discovery of a private tunnel from the home of Warren Beatty to the Playboy Mansion which I haven't quite cracked." Above Adam's answer, there is a photo of him in a hat and sunglasses with two drinks in front of him.

"What's a song you're listening to on repeat?" - "Well, if you asked my Apple Replay this question, the answer would be George Michael's Soul Free." Below is a picture of a young George Michael and the text "Presented without comment."

"How do you measure success in your creative journey?" - "When I was younger, I'd see people I knew measuring success in competitive terms - getting the job that other people didn't get, winning an award that other people didn't win. That always felt kinda gross to me. I think the measure is the relationships one builds and maintains. Success, to me, is being someone that other people want to work with and can depend on." Above Adam's answer is a mirror selfie of him wearing a brown waistcoat over a white shirt.

== Love Notes ==

Hey there lovelies! Well getting two out in one day didn't work out, so I will try to make sure I'm catching up with 2 days at time as much as I can over the next few days!

I have a very important question to ask you-- and that is, have you laughed today? Did you know laughter can reduce anxiety, and stress, stimulate your lungs, heart and muscles? It's actually pretty damn awesome how much a good old fashioned guffaw can make us feel better.

Is there something you know for a fact will make you laugh? (For me it's silly cat videos, or Stede boarding the tiny fisherman's boat in the  pilot of the hit series OFMD). Maybe it's stand up comedy-- or puns, or dark humor. Whatever it is that tickles your funny bone, I would request that today you go and just partake in some giggles. They can be small, or big, but do something that makes you laugh <3

Below are some things that have given me some giggles in the past. I hope if nothing else they give you a smile. Sending so many hugs lovelies. I'm thinking of you <3
