VPN to IPlayer Instructions

If you have questions or need help/advice: dm @SchnellaBella on tumblr

1. Get a VPN.

I use CyberGhost, but there are a number of other VPN services that work. NordVPN and ExpressVPN are recommended here and they have 30-days-money-back offers. Windscribe has a free plan with limited data - it should be able to watch both seasons once or twice.

2. Connect to a VPN server in the UK.

Many VPNs have servers that are optimized for streaming from particular sources (like the iPlayer). Use one of those these.

3. Go to the BBC website and set up a free account.

You'll need to give them some info like an email-address, birthdate and a post code (they won't check if you really live there). When they ask for "Country", select "United Kingdom". If they ask whether you have paid your TV licence fee, say yes (they don't check that either).

4. Access the iPlayer via an App or your browser

Our Flag Means Death airs on BBC 2, so if you want to watch live on Monday, that's your channel. You can also just type "Our Flag Means Death" into the search bar and stream at any time.
